RTSS
A multi-train simulator for the evaluation of electrical power supply (power feeding) systems for railways, maintained by the webmaster.
RTSS is used extensively in university research.
The program was named by Dr Takafumi Koseki, then lecturer at the University of Tokyo. RTSS is officially short for "Railway Total System Simulator". In the inner circle, however, the word also means "Ryo Takagi and Satoru Sone", the initials of the webmaster and his supervisor Prof Satoru Sone, then with the University of Tokyo and a prominent figure in electric railway engineering in Japan.
