Roof of a double-decker bus sliced off by hitting a tree

It was reported that the roof of a double-decker bus was sliced off as it hit a tree. The detailed cause of the accident is still unknown, but this is surely another example of "double-deckers are scary". Even in the UK the passengers tend to prefer single-deck buses to double-deckers, and the introduction of articulated buses will further increase in London where the authority seems to have more money to replace buses than that in Birmingham.
