Last updated 1 September 2003 A Class 313 emu with North London LinePhotograph taken on: 29 June 2003. (Larger image) One of Class 313 emu fleet dwelling at North Woolwich station, when I took the North London Line service to see Woolwich Free Ferry. The train is equipped with the dual-voltage system (25kV 50Hz overhead / 750V dc third rail). On North London Line both voltages are required; however, the switchover from one supply voltage to the other is not noticeable as a passenger on board. The drive mechanism is, as usual for British railcars, nose suspension drive. Click here when the copyright notice appears on the images. TAKAGI, Ryo webmaster@takagi-ryo.ac (c) R. Takagi 2003.
