(Larger image) "Palace of Culture and Science" in the centre of Warsaw, Poland, an infamous "gift" from Stalin. I was on the small airplane of Aeroflot on the day, landing through that thick cloud as can be seen in the photo. When it landed safely, on-board passengers applauded. After I told the local people that I had been here by Aeroflot, they said: "Lucky you are safely here. Going back again by Aeroflot? Wish you good luck again..."
