Earthquake in UK

I did not expect encountering an earthquake in the UK. Although small (4.8 on Richter scale) and not at all scaring, it was the largest earthquake that hit the UK in the past ten years. The epicentre was Dudley near Birmingham, and the depth was around 10km. Some minor sufferings like brick walls breaking down were reported, but no casualties. It seems that small earthquakes are much more frequent than I thought.
