Last updated 6 November 2003 Obelisk on Wychbury Hill, HagleyPhotograph taken on: 28 September 2003. (Larger image) The obelisk, built on Wychbury Hill in Hagley near Birmingham. This was built in 1758 by Lord Lyttleton, the owner of the nearby Hagley Hall. Now, Hagley Hall is home to Lord and Lady Cobham; However, Wychbury Hill, although part of Lord and Lady Cobham's private land, is kept open to public thanks to their generosity.
