No prosecution will be made for Naka-meguro Train Crash
The prosecutor's office in Tokyo decided that they would not prosecute any of the five TRTA officers allegedly guilty of improper track maintenance, which formed part of the cause for the crash after derailment of a metro train near Naka-meguro station south-west of Tokyo, the article reports. While this decision is totally agreeable, I do regret that any investigation into the background human factors of the accident (apart from the technical details) was done, or at least the result of such an investigation was not published at all.
