The building which stood on the entrance of former Birmingham Curzon Street Station. Opened in 1838 when the railway from London to Birmingham was completed, it was the main station of Birmingham, but only until 1854 when New Street Station was opened and passenger terminal function was removed. After that, it long served as a goods station. Currently the area is used as the depot of ParcelForce. However, the redevelopment of the whole area, including this Curzon Street Station building, is now planned; the atmosphere around the area will completely change in the near future.
