その14……焦げたATプラグ
No. 14 ... Burnt AT plug

高木が1997年から使用しているPCから出てきた、 壊れたBaby AT電源装置。 300Wものです。 ファンが壊れたと思って取り替えてみたら、 何とマザーボードに接続するプラグが右下のように焦げていました。 気軽に中をいじることができるPCですが、 放っておいたらこんなことが…。 火事にならずよかったと思うのみです。 （撮影: 2000. 1. 15, 大きな画像: 93kB）

So-called "baby AT" type power supply unit for IBM compatible PC's. This is the unit I have used since 1997, and I decided to replace it because of its cooling fan failure. I was shocked when I saw the plugs that supply power to the motherboard, which was apparently burnt black as shown in the photo. Fortunately it never caused fire -- I think I should have maintained my system much more frequently. (Photo taken: January 15, 2000. Larger image: 93kB.)
